WE ARE MOVING!!!

vinoWonka is to move to a bigger, more frequented,
easy access and all in all: nicer place – one with outside sitting area.
For the exact location follow our posts on our FB page and website.
For now we can only tell you that we searched for it
for months and that it was a huge decision
– but now we signed the contract and we got IT..!

During total re-furbishment and the move itself you can reach us on our mobiles.
We are available for business-orders, off-site tastings and any other
deliveries as usual. We will however close down our Erkel Str. shop as of 4th April.

Opening time: end of June – about this and everyhing else we will keep everyone
posted bot hon our website and on our FB page.

CHOCOLATE AND WINE BAR

VinoWonka opened at the end of May 2011.  It is in the 9^th district of Budapest, just off the famous Ráday restaurant street.

This family-owned and run business is inspired by two passions.  We, the parents, brought our love of wines, Ramona, our daughter, brought her love of quality chocolate and confectionary. At VinoWonka we offer Hungarian premium-quality hand-made chocolates and organic wines.

Pairing the two may sound unusual, but it is easy to enjoy.  We offer a taste of both pleasures, either together or separately, we advise on the best combination and help you to decide on the best choices.  However, if you simply prefer a good Rosé spritz and a lemonade then you will also find a great welcome.

Everything in our shop is Hungarian and mostly homemade:

We bake sweet and savoury breads and pastries fresh every day, serving them for breakfast or as a side to your wine.

For wine lovers we offer premium quality bottles from both small family vineyards and from renowned larger wine producers small-batch bottles, sold only directly from their winery.  Also on offer are cordials, fruit juices and palinkas. (palinka is a special Hungarian spirit distilled 100% only from fruit).

All of our products are priced at wholesale price levels and are available off the shelf, and you can also taste by the glass (we open between 20 and 25 bottles a day).
